So I was walking through the Technology section of a university, when I found this godly piece of engineering.
A 3D PRINTER!
It can print virtual models into real, three-dimensional plastic sculptures. No joke.
The fucking future is here.

3D printers have been around for quite some time. They had one at my school, but I wasn't a mechanical engineer so I never used it. What will really blow your mind is that there are some people (e.g. Form 1, look it up) that are developing desktop-sized versions of these that only cost two or three thousand bucks. What's more, most of them work better than these clunky closet-sized models.

The funny thing about them is that you can torrent expensive miniatures and print them for almost nothing.
